Human approval in AI work

Every Switch AI employee hands its work to a named person before anything is sent or changed. Here is how approval works in Teams and Slack.

How approval works in practice

Every Switch AI employee prepares its work and then posts it in the Teams or Slack thread where it was asked. A named person approves, edits or rejects it. Only approved work is sent or changed in your tools.

Because it happens in the thread, there's a visible record of who asked, what the AI prepared and who signed it off.

When to relax it

Approval for everything is the default. Over time an owner may decide that some low-risk steps, like posting a summary to an internal channel, can run without a click. That's the owner's decision, made deliberately, not a setting someone forgot about.

Where to go from here

If this sounds like the way you want to work with AI, the next step is a short conversation. We'll look at the work your teams repeat every week and tell you honestly which of it suits an AI employee and which doesn't.

From there you have two routes. On Platform your team builds its own AI employees after one onboarding call. On Managed, Switch runs a workshop, presents the plan to leadership, builds up to five AI employees, rolls them out and holds weekly implementation calls. You can try it first with a free test alongside a Switch team member.

Questions

Can some steps skip approval?

Only if the owner decides so for low-risk steps. The default is approval for everything.

Will AI employees replace people on the team?

No. They take repeatable work off the team's plate so people spend their time on judgement, customers and decisions.

How do we get started?

Start with a free test together with a Switch team member, then choose Platform to build your own AI employees or Managed to have Switch find, build and roll them out for you.

Is approval logged?

Yes, approvals happen in the Teams or Slack thread, so there is a visible record.
